Service Desk Operator

Department: IT Department.
Reports to: IT Coordinator.
Job Status: Full Time Job
Unit: IT Service Desk Operation
Preferred Gender: Male

1.Maintain and configure the development and test environment
2.Perform nightly, weekly and monthly backups.
3.Provide Second level and remote IT technical Support for all Company Staff “Head Office and Remote Sites”.
4.Determine source of computer problems (hardware, software, user access, etc.).
5.Advise IT Specialist team on appropriate action.
6.Serve as liaison between IT Specialist team and System Admins to resolve technical.
7.Work one-on-one with staff on application projects.
8.Provide recommendations on company application purchases.
9.Perform hardware and software installations.
10.Provide computer orientation to new company staff.

Requirements:
1.Proficient in PC hardware, software and network setup, maintenance, and trouble-shooting.
2.Proficient in Microsoft Windows administration.
3.Good understanding of network, system, and application security.
4.Service-oriented mentality with good personal and communication skills.
5.Good problem solving skills and sound professional judgments.
6.Good command of English and Cantonese.
7.Preferably, one year of IT support or similar working experience.
8.Network Plus and Security Plus preferred.
9.Microsoft Certified IT Professional “Required”
